Formal Garden Cleanup | Chilliwack Landscaper

Our focus during this project was to tidy up this garden space by cleaning up as much debris as possible. We also trimmed boxwood and yew hedges, and pruned several other shrubs and trees to prepare the area for the winter and spring ahead. This will help to ensure that nothing grows too big or too awkward for the tight formal area they are growing in.

As you can see it was quite a mess with debris in between foliage, in beds, over pathways, and a lot of growth on the hedges, especially the yews.

This fall cleanup was intensive, with a large back yard with a lot of plants & shrubbery

Here are some finished boxwood, trimmed and tidied. Walkways are now clear, with a trailer full of leaves and trimmings heading out. Next our workers brought in several yards of manure to top dress the beds (not pictured).

It’s amazing how much cleaner a garden can look when it’s not covered in fallen leaves!
